Todd County officials urge residents to stay off the road Monday, as work continues to improve road conditions.
Todd County Dispatch had no incidents to report, as of 11:00 AM.
Todd County Road Department Superintendent Scott Stokes said about 90 percent of the county’s roads have been grated and a bit of blacktop has been exposed. He added that any place where thawing begins to occur, it will re-freeze in the overnight hours – making roads slick and hazardous again.
Stokes said if you must get out, take it slow and use extreme caution.
