Todd County Central has turned to a former assistant coach to be the next head coach of the Rebel football team.
Todd County Central Athletic Director Mike Smith announced Friday morning that Chris Fletcher has been picked to lead the program.
Fletcher replaces Josh Robins, who stepped down at the end of the 2023 season and has since been hired as the new coach at Butler County.
Fletcher previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Rebels during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
He has also been extensively involved with youth football programs in the Clarksville area.
Fletcher was a football standout at Austin Peay and is the school’s all-time leading rusher.
