Michael Wayne McGhee is a 1976 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
After graduating, he attended the University of Kentucky to earn a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, then the University of Houston for a master’s in business administration. He has been a civil engineer for 43 years.
McGhee values the education and friendships he received most from Todd Central. He treasures the memory of his time there because it is where he met his wife, Susan.
To current students, McGhee says they should educate themselves to their potential, not their comfort level. To current educators, he says to support and encourage the quiet kids.
McGhee was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and now lives in Elkton. He has three children, John, Steven and Julie.
