The Allensville community is rallying to help their own following Saturday’s EF-2 tornado.

Allensville Volunteer Fire Chief Eric Campbell said residents stepped up as soon as the storm entered Logan County.

Campbell said there were around 15 buildings damaged in the Allensville area.

Campbell added that, so far, only one family has needed assistance after the storm.

Campbell thanked area residents for helping out when they needed drinking water donations.

If you need help with storm cleanup, call the Todd County Dispatch Center at (270) 265-2501, as volunteers are waiting to assist with debris removal.
