Mr.Elmer Ford Laster, age 76 of Elkton, passed away 8:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 08, 2023 in Elkton. Services will be Saturday November 11, 2023 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Junior Deason and Rev. Tommy Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will be Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home. Ford was born in Todd County on June 29, 1947. He was a retired insurance agent for American General Insurance. Ford was a member of Providence Methodist Church and Bear Creek Emanuel Church in Dickson, TN. He loved his dog Milo, singing and travel, as well as cooking for others and visiting, he also loved playing high 9 and other card games. He is preceded in death by his parents William Elmer Laster and Lonell Lack Laster, his brothers Jimmy and Roy Laster, and his sisters Velma Dean Scott and Clara Gayle Laster.
He is survived by his wife Carol Kern of Dickson, TN, his daughter Tracie Crews and her husband Ken of Soddy Daisy, TN, his brothers Danny Laster and his wife Debbie of Elkton, KY and Joe Laster of Elkton, KY, his sister Kathy Brewington and her husband Jerry of Windsor, MO, his grandchildren Clay and Kaitlyn Crews, and his great grandchild Luca Crews.
