Mrs. Helen Marie Sawyer, age 75 of Elkton, passed away Wednesday, November 08, 2023 at 12:48 p.m. at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, TN. Services will be Sunday November 12, 2023 1:30 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Todd County. Visitation will Sunday November 13, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:30 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live streamed at lathamfunerahome.com.
Mrs. Sawyer was born October 10, 1948 in Todd County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. She is preceded in death by her parents Elbert Lee Silvy and Gladys Marie Hurt Silvy, her brothers Clarence Dale “Moody” Silvy and Albert Lee “Roy” Silvy, her sisters Carrie Monroe and Thelma Rager.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Sawyer of Elkton, KY, her stepsons Brock Sawyer and his wife Sebrina of Adams, TN and Jason Sawyer and his wife Dawn of Clarksville,TN, her brothers Dorris Silvy and his wife Letha of Hopkinsville, KY, Robert Silvy of Hopkinsville, KY, her sisters Wilma Gilkey and Earline Silvy both of Central City, KY and Ruth Ann Morton of Russellville, KY, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren and her Chihuahua Princess.
