Todd County Middle School was recently awarded the Purple Star Award Designation from the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
The school joins South Todd Elementary in a growing list of Purple Star schools in the Commonwealth.
The designation recognizes schools that are dedicated to serving military-connected students and families. A school must designate at least one staff member to be a military youth liaison, host at least one military recognition event per year and post military resources on the school website.
