North and South Todd County Elementary Schools are currently being readied for students to come back to school next week.
North Todd Principal Bruce Voth says he is in the process of expanding and renovating the school’s playground.
click to download audioVoth is hoping the new playground will be up and running by the first day of school. He adds there have also been some modifications to both preschool playgrounds, with additional structures for children to climb on.
Voth notes there is some new staff at North Todd.

The first day of school for preschoolers in Todd County is Wednesday, Aug. 16 — all other grades begin Wednesday, Aug. 9.
