The Rotary Club of Elkton welcomed a new member earlier this week.
Todd County Public Library Director Amanda Hayes was initiated into the group. For her, it continues a family tradition of serving in the civic group.
Hayes assumed the library director role, overseeing the transition from the East Main Street location to the library’s present home on South Main Street. The library has been busy since.
The Rotary Club of Elkton now has 26 members and meets each Wednesday at Noon in the Milliken Memorial Community House.
The group is gearing up for its annual auction to benefit scholarships and other programs. The auction will be held at bolingerrealestate.com the week of April 7th.
Item donations can be given to any Rotarian, while monetary donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 60; Elkton, Kentucky; 42220.
