North and South Todd Elementary Schools represented the school district at the Regional Governor’s Cup competition against 16 schools in Russellville, Kentucky, Saturday, March 1.
Following their success at the recent district competition, the Todd County School District says the elementary school students demonstrated outstanding academic excellence and teamwork.
Four students placed in the regional competition:
Jaxson Reed, South Todd: first place in social studies, third place in science
John Kenner, North Todd: fourth place in social studies
Milly Johnson, South Todd: fifth place in composition
Emma Jolly, North Todd: second place in composition
Additionally, South Todd brought home two team awards: third place in quick recall and fourth place overall.
The school district congratulations the students on their wins and says they are incredibly proud of the students’ hard work and dedication.
