Mrs. Gail Patrick Wilson West age 86 of the Hermon Community passed away Tuesday March 4, 2025, 6:30 p.m. in the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Services will be Saturday March 8, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Willard Knipp officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Saturday March 8, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton. Services will be live streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mrs. Gail was born in Louisville, KY November 8, 1938. She held a nursing degree from Murray State University and was employed for 27 years with Dr. Henry R. Bell Jr. and 3 years with St. Thomas. She is a member of Gills Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church for over 50 years where she served as the church treasurer. She is preceded in death by her husband William Marshall “Billy” West her parents Thomas Russell Wilson and Thelma Inez Patrick Wilson, her brothers Glenn R. Wilson and Bruce E. Wilson, her sister Barbara Wheeler.
She is survived by her sons David West and his wife Kathleen of Elkton, and Michael West and his wife Heidi of the Hermon Community, her daughter Dayna Lamothe of The Villages, FL, her sister Libby Harris of Trenton, KY, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Donations may be given to Shriners, Special Olympics of KY or Habitat for Humanity.
