The City of Guthrie had a water main break Monday afternoon, resulting in a widespread outage in the water system.
Water and Wastewater Superintendent Benn Stahl said that areas experiencing low pressure or a complete loss of pressure are now under a boil water advisory until further notice.
If impacted, boil the water intended for consumption at a rolling boil for three minutes. Stahl added they apologize for the inconvenience.
