Woman Charged With Drug Possession In Elkton

A Dunmor woman was charged with possession of drugs after she was found unconscious in a vehicle at a gas pump in Elkton Monday afternoon.

Elkton Police Department Captain Jakop Smith says they were called to the Five Star Gas Station for an unresponsive female in her vehicle at the gas pump and found 34-year-old Brittany McDonald.

She was reportedly woken up and checked by EMS but refused treatment. Police say she was found to have a DUI suspended license and after a search Suboxone, suspected meth, fentanyl, marijuana, THC vapes, and drug paraphernalia were found.

McDonald was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI-suspended license, possession of meth, fentanyl, and marijuana, along with public intoxication.

Smith was assisted by Officer Hayden LeGrand in the investigation.
