North and South Todd Elementary preschool students will have the opportunity to see exciting science experiments at an interactive event in February.
The students are invited to attend the school’s “Mad Science” preschool night at North Todd Thursday, Feb. 13, featuring Mr. Bond’s Science Guys, a Tennessee-based science education group. The Science Guys seek to get children excited about science through experiments like bubbling mixtures, chemical reactions and dry ice explosions.
First-year preschool teacher Elizabeth Blake notes the event is also a good opportunity for students and parents to spend some more time with the North Todd staff.
The Science Guys will have two showtimes at 5 and 6 p.m. Parents should RSVP to their child’s teacher no later than Monday, Feb. 3.
