Tamara Fitzgerald, 57, of Guthrie

The Cook-Webb Funeral Home is honored to have been called to serve the family of Ms. Tamara Marchel Fitzgerald.

Ms. Tamara Marchel Fitzgerald, age 57 of Guthrie, passed away on Sunday, January 12th at her home.

Tamara was born September 23, 1967, in Russellville, Kentucky, the daughter of Betty Ann Fitzgerald and the late Calvin Daniel.
Tamara confessed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Tamara loved her family and friends. She was a kind-hearted soul who would do for others before she would do for herself. She had the biggest smile that would make you smile. She loved to cook, shop, and spend time with family and friends.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Kelvin Garrett; a brother, Kelvin Ferguson and an uncle, Henry Lee Etters. Tamara leaves to forever cherish her memories, her beloved fiancé, Thomas Gray of Guthrie; her mother, Betty Ann Ferguson of Guthrie; her father, Rex Whitlock, Sr. of Guthrie; two sons, Kayan Garrett of Bowling Green and Antonio Fitzgerald of Guthrie; two daughters, Beshea Moore (Aviance) and Leshea Stevenson (Zaire Pugh) both of Clarksville; three brothers, Melvin Ferguson of Clarksville, Rex Whitlock, Jr. of Guthrie and Terry McKnight of Hopkinsville; a uncle, James Fitzgerald of Nashville and five grandchildren. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Visitation with the Fitzgerald family will be on Saturday, January 18th from 11:00 until funeral service time at noon at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie with Pastor GC Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at the Lester Chapel Cemetery in Guthrie.
