Middle School Students Invited To Apply To 4-H Leadership Conference

Todd County students are invited to apply to the Todd County 4-H Summit, slated for Thursday, March 20 – Saturday, March 22.

The middle school leadership conference is an opportunity for sixth through eighth graders across the commonwealth to engage in workshops, participate in a service project, interact with teen leadership board members, meet other middle school students and build their skills in leadership, communication and teamwork.

Todd County has four spots total, two for girls and two for boys. Preference is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

The summit will be held over three days and two nights at Lake Cumberland’s 4-H Camp.

Middle schoolers interested in signing up for the conference should come by the Todd County Extension Office to fill out an application. The total cost for the summit is $200 per student, due by Friday, Jan. 31.

For more information, contact 4-H Extension Agent Lee Ann McCuiston at the office.
