Providence Church in Elkton is hosting a fundraiser event this weekend to raise money for Todd County Schools.
Saturday, Nov. 2, Providence Church invites the community to a chili supper and auction. The meal will be served at 6 p.m. and include chili or soup, a sandwich, homemade dessert and a drink. Church Pastor Bro. Clayton Miller says the meal has no set cost and is donation only.
The auction will follow directly after the meal and will feature a variety of new and used items.
Miller adds the church will be accepting items up until 6 p.m. on Saturday night.
He says the fundraiser event will be a night of fellowship and fun for the community, and all proceeds will go toward the Todd County School’s Children’s Need Fund, encompassing Todd County Family Resources, South Todd Elementary, North Todd Elementary, Todd County Middle School and TCCHS.
Providence Church is located at 698 Starnes Rd. in Elkton, Kentucky.
