Waylon Michael Jones, age 3, passed peacefully in his sleep. He was surrounded by his trucks, fuzzy blanket and most importantly: Love. Waylon is survived by his parents: Anna Petrie (raised in Elkton) and Gregory Jones, along with his sister Maeve Jones. As this is Waylon’s last announcement, it should be done correctly. For those who have nor followed the family these last 3 years, most of Waylon’s announcements were written by Waylon.
“Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray my Lord my soul to keep. If I pass before I wake, I pray my Lord my soul to take”
Before I fell asleep, I was playing with my trucks and laughing so hard. I watched my light shows and cuddled my blankie. I was so cozy. I love how I started a weekly tradition with momma to watch football. My daddy and I loved to be silly and play jokes on each other, while my sissy and I played every single day together.
I leave my mom, dad, sissy, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins behind. But the welcoming I received when I woke up was so beautiful. I am now safe in heaven with my great grandparents and my family. Know I love you. The light show in heaven is so beautiful. I will always be with you. May you never forget that you are loved,
Forever your wild child.
Waylon Michael Jones.
