Todd County Grand Jury Returns October Indictments

The Todd County Grand Jury has been quite busy returning several indictments in October.

The October indictments were returned Wednesday, October 16, and include: 

22-year-old Giovanni Marco Capozzi, of Fresno, California, was indicted on charges of trafficking in marijuana – under 5 pounds, engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate, possession of drug paraphernalia, leaving the scene of an accident, first-degree criminal mischief, two counts of tampering with physical evidence, and second-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from incidents between April 2 and August 15, 2024.

23-year-old Tharesa Madison Mosley, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of complicity to traffic in marijuana – over 5 pounds, possession of drug paraphernalia, engaging in organized crime, criminal syndicate, and tampering with physical evidence. The charges stem from incidents between April 2 and August 10, 2024.

21-year-old Maggie A. Cockrell, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of trafficking in marijuana – under 5 pounds, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance of more than ten dosage units of schedule 1 and 2 – non-narcotics – firearm enhanced, cultivate in marijuana – less than five plants – firearm enhanced, engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the welfare of a minor. The charges stem from incidents between April 2 and August 9, 2024.

30-year-old Jeremy Wilson, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment – police officer, complicity to trafficking in marijuana – over 5 pounds, engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate, tampering with physical evidence, reckless driving, and first-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from August 9 and 15, 2024.

24-year-old Caleb A. Bell, of Sharon Grove, was indicted on charges of trafficking in marijuana – over 5 pounds – firearm enhanced, two counts of convicted felon in possession of a handgun, two counts of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance of more than ten dosage units of schedule 1 and 2 – non-narcotics – firearm enhanced, engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate, cultivate in marijuana – over 5 plants – firearm enhanced, endangering the welfare of a minor, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from April 2 and August 9, 2024.

49-year-old Floyd Luster, of Oak Grove, was indicted on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth. The charges stem from July 17, 2024.

62-year-old Earl B. York, of Guthrie, was indicted on charges of menacing and second-degree assault. The charges stem from July 5, 2024.

43-year-old April Michelle Stokes, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana cultivation – 5 or more plants, second-degree possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified, first-degree possession of a controlled substance – meth, and possession of marijuana. The charges stem from August 30, 2024.

62-year-old Douglas Ray Stokes, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of marijuana cultivation – 5 or more plants, possession of marijuana, and second-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from August 30, 2024.

41-year-old Lee Moore, of Lewisburg, was indicted on charges of theft by unlawful taking – auto ($30,000 in value), first-degree criminal mischief – $500 or more, first-degree fleeing or evading police, third-degree fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property over $10,000, five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment – police officer, resisting arrest, third-degree criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree terroristic threatening, possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, speeding 26 MPH or greater over the limit, reckless driving, failure to wear seatbelt, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, disregarding a stop sign, disregarding a traffic control device – traffic light, failure to/or improper signal, obstructed vision and/or windshield, second-degree criminal mischief – less than $500, and first-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from a high-speed chase that occurred on September 4 and 5, 2024 in Todd County.

Moore was also indicted on charges of first-degree bail jumping and first-degree persistent felony offender. The charges stem from September 4, 2024.

35-year-old Hugo Gerardo Vazquez Acosta, of Oak Grove, and 23-year-old Makayla Magness, of Woodlawn, Tennessee, were indicted on a charge of theft by unlawful taking – auto ($2,000 in value). Both charges stem from an incident on May 1, 2024, investigated by the Elkton Police Department.

44-year-old Thomas Less Clary, of Guthrie, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property over $10,000 ($18,000 value). The charge stems from an incident on August 12, 2024.

43-year-old Latisha L. Navarrete, of Elkton, was indicted on a charge of engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate. The charge stems from an incident that took place between August 10 and 12, 2024.

21-year-old Jesus Flores, of Elkton, was indicted on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance – carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives and first-degree unlawful transaction of a minor – illegal controlled substance. The charges stem from incidents that took place between June 1 and 13, 2024.

51-year-old Zeb L. Hill, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was indicted on charges of tampering with physical evidence and engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate. The charges stem from incidents between August 9 and 12, 2024.

45-year-old Christina A. Mosley, of Elkton, was indicted on a charge of engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate. The charge stems from incidents that took place between August 10 and 12, 2024.

46-year-old Heather Greene, of Trenton, was indicted on charges of engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate and complicity to tampering with physical evidence. The charges stem from incidents that took place between August 10 and 14, 2024.
