The Todd County Board of Education is looking for three community/business leaders to join the latest Local Planning Committee (LPC).
Superintendent Mark Thomas tells Your WEKT News Edge the LPC is tasked with developing a new District Facilities Plan.
The Kentucky Department of Education approved the Todd County Schools District Facilities Plan in May 2023. However, due to the community’s recent rapid growth, Thomas says the board finds it necessary to revisit and update the plan.
He adds they are taking a proactive approach to the process.
The group will also feature district employees and officials. All members must attend at least three LPC meetings and three public forums.

The Todd County Board of Education will select the final committee members at their November meeting.
