Todd County School District Update: Fall Festivities And Athletic Highlights

As Todd County students were welcomed back to campus Monday, Oct. 14 after their fall break, the school district is gearing up for some exciting events throughout the rest of the month.

Superintendent Mark Thomas shares South Todd Elementary will hold its annual fall festival Saturday, Oct. 19, followed by North Todd’s festival the following Saturday on Oct. 26. The high school will also host its annual Trunk or Treat event Monday, Oct. 28 in the school’s parking lot. Thomas invites the community to join in on the fall festivities and support the county’s students.

In athletics, Thomas wishes the TCCHS marching band good luck as they prepare to perform in their regional competition this coming Saturday. Meanwhile, the high school girls volleyball team continues to perform well and will begin district play next week. The team only has a few home games left before they finish up their season.

Thomas adds the high school boys and girls soccer seasons have come to an end, with the boys winning the district championship for the first time in 12 years.
