From Barbie to Inside Out characters visitors to the Todd County Bale Trail will find a unique experience this year.
The annual bale trail kicked off earlier this month after this year’s hay creations were constructed. Todd County Chamber of Commerce Board member Jen Harris says Elkton is all decked in movie style, with several movie characters on Elkton’s Square.
Harris adds there are a variety of bales throughout the county.
And don’t overlook Lain “Hay” Wilson at the Grand Ole Opry-Hay and Flying Lessons on Allensville Road and the battle of the barrels at Kentucky-Tennessee Livestock in Guthrie.
Harris says as the owner of Hip Harvest she can see the impact of the bale trail that draws visitors from neighboring counties and surrounding states.
She adds that finding a starting place on the bale trail is easy.
The Bale Trail was judged in late September by a panel of judges, with voting still underway in the fan favorite category. Harris says those votes can be logged on the Todd County Chamber Facebook page.
