All 51 hay bale creations of the 11th Annual Hay Bale Trail are now being showcased throughout the county.
While some displays were damaged or behind schedule due to the weather that hit Todd County last week, this year’s Hay Bale Trail is up and running through the end of the month.
The community came up with some very creative exhibits this year, including a burning barn, a Grand Ole Opry stage, the cast of Disney’s “Inside Out” and many more. While exploring the trail, be sure to look out for this year’s brand-new category – scarecrows.
The community is invited to vote for the trail’s Fan Favorite on the Todd County Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page. Every “like” on a hay bale creation counts as one vote, and the exhibit with the most likes by noon on Thursday, Oct. 31 will be crowned Todd County’s Fan Favorite.
First, second and third place will receive Chamber Bucks for their prizes. Apart from Fan Favorite, there will also be winners in the small, large and mega categories, as well as Most Creative.
