The TCCHS marching band also had some victories recently with their competition in Ohio County this past weekend, where the group placed third in their class, third in color guard and seventh overall.

Thomas says the middle and high school football teams continue to perform very well and showcase their many talents out on the field. There are a few upcoming opportunities at the end of the week to see both teams play.

He adds the high school esports and cross country teams are excelling and doing an awesome job with their seasons as well.

The Todd Middle softball team is getting ready to wrap up their season, and Thomas encourages the community to come check out their games and cheer them on as they work for some victories before their season closes.

Additionally, there are only three more weeks of school left before fall break for the district. Thomas says Friday, October 4 will be an early release day, beginning the students’ fall break before they return to school Monday, Oct. 14.

After fall break, Thomas announces the district is very excited to work with their preschool and community entities to sponsor a Trunk-or-Treat event again this year, located in the high school parking lot Monday, Oct. 28. The event will start at 5:30 p.m.
