Additional August Todd Co. Indictments Handed Down

Among the indictments returned last week by the Todd County Grand Jury – included charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and various drug charges.

The grand jury indicted 42-year-old Michael Piper, of Belton, Kentucky, on charges of first-degree burglary and fourth-degree assault (minor injury). Those charges came after an incident around August 21, 2019, where Piper entered a home without permission and threatened to use a hammer against the female homeowner. The indictment added Piper caused physical injury to the woman by grabbing her from behind in a chokehold position. The case was investigated by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office.

Additionally, 45-year-old William Mosley, of Elkton, was indicted on third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking (more than $500, under $1,000), third-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree persistent felony offender. The charges come from an investigation by the Elkton Police Department from an incident on June 22nd when he was found to have entered a storage room at Elkton Greens Apartments. Mosley allegedly took around $900 worth of items in the room; including VCR players, gasoline, coffee pots, and other items, and damaged three storage cabinets.

Five days later, Mosley was again arrested by the Elkton Police Department on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth – second offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also indicted on those charges.

61-year-old Jamie Huskey, of Lewisburg, was indicted on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth – second offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both charges came from the Todd County Sheriff’s Office following an incident on June 5th.

57-year-old David Dixson, of Albany, Kentucky, was indicted on charges of no rearview mirror, third or greater offense of driving on a DUI suspended license, and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. The charges came following a June 7th traffic stop conducted by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office.
