New Harmony General Baptist Church is hosting a Celebration of Freedom Service at Clifty Park the evening of Sunday, June 30.
The free event will begin at 6 p.m. with a picnic and fellowship. The church will be providing hot dogs, chips, drinks and dessert. The celebration will also feature a train ride, bubbles and sidewalk chalk around the park.
A prayer around the flagpole will be held at 8 p.m. followed by a devotion under the shelter and fireworks at dark.
New Harmony General Baptist asks the community to bring their own lawn chairs to the park and says everyone is welcome at the Celebration of Freedom Service.
