Todd County Schools Keeping Busy In Last Five Weeks Of Class

The last five weeks of school are packed with end-of-year events for the Todd County School District.

Superintendent Mark Thomas shares Tuesday, April 16, North Todd Elementary kindergarten and first grade students will perform Pandamonium: a Musical for Young Voices. The program will take place at 5 p.m. in North Todd’s gym.

Friday, April 25, South Todd Elementary will host a Donuts with Grown-ups event. Also on Friday, the school district will host a Hispanic Culture Night at the middle school.

Saturday, April 26 is the annual Rustic Rebel Craft Fair, sponsored by TCCHS’s Student Government Association. The event will take place in the school’s gym from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, April 29, it’s North Todd’s turn for Donuts with Grown-ups from 7-9 a.m. Also on Tuesday, Thomas notes the statewide testing window opens for the Todd County School District.

Todd County athletics have a busy five weeks ahead as well. Thomas says all four TCCHS esports leagues are ranked very high at the state level and he wishes them the best of luck as they roll into their state playoffs soon.

The high school’s track and field team continues to perform well and Thomas shares the district will host a home track and field event in the next few weeks.

He adds Todd County Middle School’s baseball team continues to see wins and is getting ready to wrap up their season, along with the middle school’s soccer team.

TCCHS’s softball and baseball teams are jumping into their season and getting ready to start district play shortly. Thomas says both teams are performing very well and he is excited to see how they do in district match-ups.
