After an eventful auction week, Elkton Rotarians wrapped up the 2025 scholarship auction and expressed their gratitude to the community for its generous fundraising efforts.
As of Saturday night, the club had raised $29,000 during the auction effort. Around $13,000 of that total came from contributions to the Bryan Blount, III Century Club.
Funds will be used for scholarships for Todd County Central High School seniors and other initiatives to be shared throughout the upcoming school year.
Auction co-chairs Rhonda Werner and Kelvin DeBerry thanked everyone who stepped up to donate or bid on items in the auction, with 225 items listed at BolingerRealEstate.com. They added that donations to the Century Club were also greatly appreciated.
Monetary donations can still be sent to the Elkton Rotary Club; P.O. Box 60; Elkton, Kentucky; 42220 or handed over to any Rotarian.
Item pick-up will be at 2 Industrial Drive in Elkton this Monday and Tuesday from Noon to 6:00 PM. The Todd County Central High School Interact Club will assist with pick-up activities.
The Elkton Rotary Club meets every Wednesday at Noon inside the Milliken Memorial Community House. Members of the community are welcome to any meeting to learn more about the civic organization and to enjoy a lunch with local business leaders.
