The Elkton Rotary Club’s annual auction will wrap up Saturday evening and the organization is making a final push for monetary donations to support scholarships.

Auction co-chair Kelvin DeBerry said the fifth annual auction aims to support even more TCCHS seniors than last year.

DeBerry added that the scholarships mean a lot to those who receive them.

Edge Media Group President Beth Mann joined in on Thursday night’s broadcast on WEKT and advocated for donations.

WEKT will host the final broadcast on Saturday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in support of the Elkton Rotary Club scholarship auction.

Mann offered a match of $500 to those who have not made their Century Club donations. She will present that donation during Saturday’s broadcast.

Auction items can be viewed at BolingerRealEstate.com. Thursday night’s broadcast featured the sale of a few ‘live auction’ items, including two copies of Amy Watson’s ‘Ellicott Moon’ children’s book that sold for $100 each.
