The City of Elkton expressed deep empathy for those impacted by recent flooding.
During Thursday night’s city council meeting, members discussed the event. While Elkton was spared from the worst, the city is committed to learning from this event and exploring infrastructure improvements.
In other city updates:
- Mayor Arthur Green was reappointed to Logan-Todd Regional Water Commission.
- The trash services contract was renewed with GFL. This is final year of current agreement; new bids will be sought next year.
- Mayor Green will read a Child Abuse Awareness Month proclamation at the Todd County AXIS Program event Saturday morning in Elkton.
