It’s auction week for the Rotary Club of Elkton, and the organization wants to raise $50,000.

The auction will begin Monday at 10:00 AM and end Saturday at 6:00 PM on Bolinger Real Estate’s website. Funds raised this week will go to the group’s Todd County Central High School scholarship fund and help support additional projects.

Item or monetary donations can still be made, they can be given to any Rotarian or by calling Rhonda Werner at (270) 313-4017 or Kelvin DeBerry at (270) 604-2536.

To help spread the message about the club, a special broadcast will take place on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings on WEKT. Club representatives will talk about the scholarships and discuss items that are on the auction block.

Auction coverage on WEKT is sponsored by Kathy J. Morgan – Modern Woodman of America, United Southern Bank, Todd County Public Library, the City of Elkton, and Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield.

During the broadcasts Monday and Thursday, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, there will be items sold that are not listed on the auction website. Monday’s items include a $200 fuel-only gift card to Max’s (which has a BP location in Elkton) and $500 off a $1,000 purchase from Kentucky Lawn Furniture.

Saturday’s broadcast will begin at 4:30 PM and end after all of the items have been sold at BolingerRealEstate.com.
