The TCCHS Band is raising money to hold an event in honor of the late Kelsey Dunn, a TCCHS alumni and Kentucky band director.
Dunn, a musician and educator, was a percussion instructor at Murray High School, guest clinician at band camps across the state and most recently, the band director at North Hardin High School. She passed away in June of 2024 at age 28.
To honor her memory, TCCHS will host the Kelsey Dunn Memorial Solo and Ensemble Festival and Competition for Todd County band students. Students grades six through 12 will have the opportunity to showcase their musical skills and receive constructive feedback from experienced guest judges.
The festival is slated to take place Saturday, May 10 beginning at 9 a.m. in the school’s auditorium.
