Todd County Superintendent Discusses Spring Semester Dates And Activities

As the Todd County School District approaches spring break, there are a few events and activities going on across the schools.

Superintendent Mark Thomas says Todd County Middle School’s baseball and soccer teams have all recently begun their spring seasons and he looks forward to their success going forward.

TCCHS’s baseball and softball teams are both about to begin play, while the high school’s track and field team’s season is already well underway. Thomas invites the community to come out and support the students during their home games throughout the next few months.

Additionally, the TCCHS esports team continues to move forward with their season and accumulate wins. Thomas notes all four leagues are currently ranked in the top 20 for the state.

There are a few events coming up in the district for parents and students to keep in mind:

Thursday, March 20: North Todd Elementary Art Club showcase – 4:30 p.m.

Friday, March 21: No school for students. Staff will be present for a curriculum day.

Tuesday, March 25: North Todd Xylocats and Wildcat Choir performance

Tuesday, March 25: TCCHS freshman orientation

Wednesday, March 26: TCCHS principal’s breakfast

Friday, March 28: Todd County Middle School principal’s breakfast

Friday, March 28 is also an early release day for students, marking the start of the district’s spring break. Students will return to campus Monday, April 7.
