An issue with equipment while filling an anhydrous tank led to West Main Street being temporarily blocked Thursday morning.
Elkton Fire Department Chief James Calvery says they were called to Southern States for an anhydrous leak and found that the employees had stopped the leak but a lot of the gas had been released.
Two employees were reportedly checked out by Todd County EMS due to being exposed to the gas but did not need to be taken to the hospital.
West Main Street was reopened to traffic shortly after the leak was contained.
