As the Todd County School District finalizes its winter sports and enters into the spring season, Superintendent Mark Thomas invites the community to support student athletics.
Thomas offers his congratulations to TCCHS’s boys and girls basketball teams for a wonderful season. Both teams played in the district championship this past week, with the girls team placing second overall. They will go on to compete in their regional tournament this week at Western Kentucky University.
Todd Middle’s spring season is getting into gear and Thomas invites Todd Countians to come out and watch the school’s soccer and baseball teams play, as well as cheer on the middle school students competing on Todd Central’s track and field team.
On the high school side, the esports team is well into their spring season and already racking up wins. Thomas adds the school’s girls softball team and boys baseball team are getting ready to open season play.
Thomas notes this week is the end of the district’s third nine weeks, so parents should be on the lookout for report cards. Additionally, Friday, March 28 will be an early release day for the district, kicking off spring break which will go through the end of the month. Students will return to campus Monday, April 7.
