Alpha Pregnancy Care Center will host its 17th Annual Father-Daughter Dance Friday, Feb. 28 in Hopkinsville.
Care Center Executive Director Angie Crawford says this year’s theme is “Transformed by the Love of our Father”, highlighting the importance of father-daughter relationships.
Crawford notes 17 years ago, the event began as more of a purity ball, but today the organization focuses more on providing support to young girls and helping foster the relationships between girls and their fathers.
The event will be held at the James Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville from 7-9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature dancing, professional photos, a chocolate fountain, a dad dance-off and a brief talk by guest speaker Darrell Crawford, Living Hope Baptist Church pastor.
Tickets are available at the door for $60.
