Todd County Officials Urge Residents To Stay Home Wednesday

Roads remain slick and hazardous across Todd County Wednesday morning after 3-4″ of snow fell overnight.

Todd County Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield urges everyone to stay home unless they have to get out.

Mansfield adds that county road crews have been hard at work.

State road conditions across the KYTC District 3 area, including Todd County, remain hazardous as most remain completely covered.

Interim Todd County Emergency Management Director William Randolph shares some driving tips if you must get out.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 9:00 this morning, though the bulk of the snow has moved out of the region.

Additionally, a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect until 10:00 Thursday morning, as very cold wind chills of near or below zero are expected Wednesday and fall to 10 to 13 below zero Wednesday night and early Thursday.

Randolph says they are monitoring the latest weather updates, but at this time, they have not decided to open a warming shelter Wednesday night.
