Wes Watt, spokesperson for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3, said their crews mobilized Monday and Tuesday for anti-icing operations. He added hazardous driving conditions are expected through Wednesday. The heavier snowfall is expected to start after midnight, meaning the morning commute on Wednesday is expected to be greatly impacted by this winter weather system.
Motorists who have to be out should allow for extra travel time, use slower speeds, and give plenty of space between vehicles.
