Several people were helped from two different homes on State Street in Guthrie after water got up to their homes Saturday afternoon.
Guthrie Fire Chief Tommy Clinard says they used a boat to help a mother, father, and three children out of one home and one woman in a second home after water came up to the homes trapping them inside.
No one was injured and Guthrie firefighters were assisted by the Elkton Fire Department and Todd County Rescue.
