FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE…All of Western Kentucky, Mississippi and New Madrid
Counties in Southeast Missouri, Spencer County in Southwest
Indiana, and Hardin, Massac, and Pope counties in Southern
Illinois.

* WHEN…From late tonight through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are forecast, with
localized higher amounts up to 6 inches possible. Soils are
already saturated across the region, so this rain could lead
to significant flooding impacts through the weekend. Rises on
area rivers are expected as well.
