Todd County Sheriff Tracy White was arraigned in a Hart County courtroom last week for his Logan County charges.
According to his lawyer, Mac Johns, Sheriff White entered a not-guilty plea on charges of harassment and menacing. He will appear in court again on February 12th at 8:30 a.m.
Sheriff White was indicted in December on the two charges following an incident that occurred on May 3, 2024, at the residence of Adam Weatherford.
As WEKT previously reported, the alleged incident, shared via the YouTube channel LackLuster, purportedly shows Sheriff White on Weatherford’s property arguing about an incident involving children, including his own. In the video, Sheriff White is not in uniform, and the video claims he was intoxicated. The footage also alleged that Sheriff White hit the victim.
