Mr. Alton Earl Roe, age 81 of Clifty, passed away at 2:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at The Medical Center of Russellville. Services will be on Saturday February 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. James Tomlinson Jr officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 202,5 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
Mr. Alton was born in Todd County on July 16, 1943. He was retired from Emerson Electric in Russellville, KY. He attended New Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Alton loved to work, farm, and be outside. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe Gid “Tom” Roe and Jennie Lee Wilkins Roe, and his brother Robert Roe.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Reva Roe of Clifty, KY, his son Joe Kevin Roe and his wife Betsy of Clifty, his daughter Nancy L.
Hall and her husband Timothy of Clifty, his sister Agnes West of Nortonville, KY, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
