A traffic stop in reference to a suspicious vehicle on West Main Street in Elkton led to drug charges for a man and woman Wednesday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Christopher Goodwin of Lewisburg and during the stop, he consented to a search of his vehicle.
A glass jar reportedly containing suspected meth was located in the center console.
Goodwin and his passenger 30-year-old Katie Rhoades of Elkton were both arrested and charged with possession of meth. Goodwin was also charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license.
