Todd County Central High School Freshman Mallory Werner received a surprising letter in the mail last week, which informed her that she will have the opportunity to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
The Congress is a three day event for high school students interested in the medical field to learn from medical professionals. To be selected for the Congress, delegates must have a 3.5 GPA and be nominated by a high school faculty member.
Werner expressed excitement for attending the Congress.
