An Elkton man was charged with drug possession after being arrested for criminal trespassing on Commerce Street Saturday night.
Elkton Police say they were called for 31-year-old John Smith who was at an apartment he had been given a trespass warning for in the past.
While being booked into the jail on the criminal trespassing charge he was reportedly found to have meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
He is charged with violation of conditions of release, first-degree criminal trespass, and possession of meth second offense, and possession of marijuana.
