4-H Horse Club, Homeschool Club Begins Meeting This Month

Todd County 4-H’s Horse Club and Homeschool Club will both start begin meeting again this month.

Students who have an interest in horses are invited to join the 4-H Horse Club, open to ages nine-19. Individuals do not have to own a horse to join.

There are a few events members will have the opportunity to take part in. Todd County 4-H plans to get the group together for a 4-H horse judging clinic sometime this month – the date will be set based on January’s weather forecast. March 11, the club will travel to Murray, Kentucky for another horse judging clinic. Later in March, the club will take part in a horse sorting clinic at the Christian County Expo March 29.

4-H and Family Consumer Science’s Homeschool Club will hold its first meeting of the year Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the Todd County Extension Office from 9-11 a.m.
