Todd County Fiscal Court is looking for its next Emergency Management Director.
In information obtained by Your WEKT News Edge, Judge-Executive Todd Mansfield said the next director will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements of Kentucky Revised Statute 39B.030 and other applicable law, including but not limited to representing the county judge/executive and/or city mayors on all matters pertaining to the comprehensive emergency management program and the disaster and emergency response of the county and the cities therein.
The EM Director serves as the chief advisor to and the primary on-scene representative of the county judge/executive or mayor in the event of any emergency, declared emergency, disaster, or catastrophe within the local jurisdiction.
The job is a part-time position with an annual salary range of $25,000 to $40,000, this could be modified to a full-time position in the future. Applications are available in Mansfield’s office and must be submitted no later than the close of business on January 31, 2025.
