Todd County Central High School Alumni Spotlight: Gail Russell-Young

Gail Russell-Young is a 2000 graduate of Todd County Central High School.

She values most from Todd Central the lasting friendships she made during her time there as well as her involvement in athletics.

Young says homecoming week was always special at the school and fondly remembers being crowned Homecoming Queen in 1999.

After graduating, she attended Western Kentucky University in 2004 to earn her bachelor’s degree, then Bethel University College of Professional Studies to earn her master’s in 2017.

Young advises current Todd Central students to be engaged in extracurricular activities during their time in high school. To current educators, she says to make education more inclusive and be sure to provide resources for those who need additional help.
