Private graveside services for 81-year-old Dorothy “Dottie” Cowan Outland, of Fairview, will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
Her sons, Steve (Crystal) Outland, and Rodney (Leah) Outland, both of Fairview;
five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Rev. Kim Combs is officiating.
She died of natural causes Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at her home.
She was born in Todd County, on October 25, 1943, the daughter of the Charles and Inga Smith Cowan.
Dottie was a homemaker and a member of Eastview Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert “Bobby” Outland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Ave, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
