Kristin Dickinson Osborne is a 2005 graduate of Todd County Central High School.
Osborne says she values her lifelong friendships the most from her years at Todd Central, as well as the lessons learned under skilled professionals.
She adds she treasures the memory of attending the inauguration of George W. Bush in Washington, DC her senior year of high school – as well as the state basketball tournament her junior year. Osborne also has fond memories of the camaraderie between classmates that still exists 19 years later.
After graduating, Osborne attended Georgetown College to earn bachelor’s degrees in theatre/performance studies and chemistry, then Austin Peay State University for her master’s in teaching. Since then, she has been a teacher for 12 years.
Osborne advises current Todd Central students to enjoy their childhood, because adulthood never ends after they graduate. To current educators, she says they are so lucky to work in this small-town school system – they have a building full of students who need someone to guide them into making successful choices.
